Waste Not (Recycling) Program

WASTE NOT, Incline Village General Improvement District's Conservation program, provides community conservation services to protect OUR resources. The WASTE NOT program is located at Public Works. Our purpose: to empower sustainable living by providing conservation programs for recycling, household hazardous waste, water conservation, watershed management, and education.

Planning a community event? You can now offer recycling and composting!
Recycling / composting collection containers and other tools are now available for free community use through the North Lake Tahoe “Zero Waste” Project. To learn more about this new program, sponsored by IVGID and the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation download this information packet.

Please take a moment to review our programs including: recycling, bear awareness www.stashyourtrash.org and trash containment, water conservation, source water protection, clean water team and household hazardous waste.
