Clean Water Team
The Incline Village Clean Water Team is a volunteer citizen monitoring group funded by the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection--Water Quality Bureau and IVGID Public Works Department. Started in 1999, the program seeks to increase community involvement in watershed protection. The team meets year-round, once every other month to monitor several creeks around Incline Village. Volunteers perform water monitoring tests, collect samples, and make visual observations of stream and habitat health. The Incline Village Clean Water Team provides training of monitoring techniques, thus no specific skills or prior experience is required.
